3.12.25 Pittsburgh

The Steelers claimed veteran receiver Adam Thielen after his release from Minnesota, giving Aaron Rodgers another target for the league's 24th-ranked passing offense. Thielen, in his final NFL season, had seen his role shrink with the Vikings. Pittsburgh also waived cornerback Darius Slay, promoting Asante Samuel Jr. to the active roster as injuries opened playing time.

2.11.25 Baltimore

The Ravens traded cornerback Jaire Alexander and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Eagles for a 2026 sixth-rounder. Alexander, 28, saw limited action in Baltimore after battling injuries and falling down the depth chart. In Philadelphia, he'll get a chance for more playing time in a secondary still searching for stability. A two-time All-Pro with Green Bay, Alexander has 12 career interceptions and 70 passes defensed.

8.10.25 Cincinati

The Cincinnati Bengals acquired veteran quarterback Joe Flacco from the Cleveland Browns, along with a 2026 sixth-round pick, in exchange for a fifth-round pick, addressing their quarterback crisis after Joe Burrow's Week 2 toe injury. Jake Browning struggled as Burrow's replacement, throwing eight interceptions in four games, including three in a 37-24 loss to Detroit. Flacco brings experience with 1,761 yards and 12 touchdowns in eight games for Indianapolis last season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to a four-year, $90 million contract extension with right tackle Luke Goedeke, including $50m guaranteed. Goedeke, 26, was a second-round pick in 2022 and has started 31 of 41 games, along with four playoff starts. With this deal, and left tackle Tristan Wirfs' extension last year, the Bucs have secured both starting tackles through the 2029 season.

The Chiefs and All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie are not expected to agree on a contract extension before the season opener in Sao Paulo. McDuffie will play the 2025 season on the final year of his rookie deal, earning $2.6 million. Talks may resume during the season, but any new deal would likely need to surpass Sauce Gardner's $120.4 million extension.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen accepted a $2 million pay cut to help complete a trade from the Carolina Panthers back to his hometown team. As a result, he'll earn approximately $5 million this season. The trade, delayed by over a week of negotiations, included the Vikings sending a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 fourth-round pick to Carolina in exchange for Thielen, a conditional seventh-round pick in 2026, and a 2027 fifth-round pick.

The Dallas Cowboys traded star edge rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers for two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark. The trade ends Parsons' contract standoff in Dallas and results in a massive payday, as Green Bay signed him to a four-year, $188 million deal with $120m guaranteed. The deal immediately boosts the Packers' Super Bowl hopes, but questions linger about the cost of the acquisition.

The Las Vegas Raiders acquired quarterback Kenny Pickett from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick. Pickett will serve as the backup to starter Geno Smith after Aidan O'Connell fractured his wrist in the team's final preseason game, sidelining him for six to eight weeks.

The Minnesota Vikings revamped their quarterback depth on Sunday by signing veteran Carson Wentz and trading Sam Howell to the Philadelphia Eagles. In the deal, the Vikings received a 2026 fifth-round and a 2027 seventh-round pick, sending back a 2026 sixth-rounder. Wentz, now on his sixth team in as many years, will serve as a seasoned backup to J.J. McCarthy.

The New Orleans Saints have added size and depth to their wide receiver group by acquiring Devaughn Vele from the Denver Broncos in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2027 seventh-rounder. Vele missed part of Denver's offseason due to a knee injury and had limited preseason action.

18.8.25 Jackson.

The Jaguars acquired veteran defensive tackle Khalen Saunders from the Saints in exchange for center Luke Fortner. Jacksonville strengthens its defensive line amid injury concerns, while Fortner became expendable after the team added depth at center this offseason. Saunders brings championship experience and interior toughness to the Jaguars' defense.

The Eagles acquired cornerback Jakorian Bennett from the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for defensive tackle Thomas Booker. Bennett, 24, is regarded as one of the NFL's most underrated young cornerbacks. Despite playing through a torn labrum last season, he allowed no touchdowns and held quarterbacks to a 57.9 passer rating over 300 defensive snaps. This move strengthens the Eagles' secondary as they aim to defend their NFC title.
