Lookman could make his Leipzig debut on Saturday at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Borussia 31.1.18
Oxford returns to Monchengladbach
West Ham defender Reece Oxford has returned to Borussia Monchengladbach on a temporary basis. The 19-year-old was with the Bundesliga club throughout the first half of the campaign, though he was recalled by the Hammers at the beginning of January. He made two FA Cup appearances and played a few minutes in the Premier League, but has now returned to Germany for the remainder of 2017-18.
Werder 31.1.18
Werder sign Rashica from Vitesse
Werder Bremen have announced the signing of Kosovo international Milot Rashica for an undisclosed fee from Vitesse Arnhem. The 21-year-old midfielder has featured heavily for the Dutch side this season, playing in 19 Eredivisie games and all six Europa League matches, contributing three goals and three assists. Rashica made two caps for Albania, after representing younger age groups, before switching allegiances to Kosovo in August 2016.
Dortmund 30.1.18
Dortmund snap up Sergio Gomez
Borussia Dortmund have secured the services of highly rated teenage attacking midfielder Sergio Gomez from Barcelona. The 17-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Spanish football, has signed a what was only disclosed as a "long-term contract" with the Yellow-Blacks, becoming their second January acquisition following the arrival of Swiss defender Manuel Akanji. Gomez will initially link up with BVB's Under-19 side before making the step up to the Borussia first team on 1 July 2019.
Schalke 29.1.18
Baba Rahman joins Schalke on loan
Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman has joined Schalke on loan until the end of next season. The 23-year-old Ghanaian spent the first half of last season on loan at the Bundesliga club before he sustained a serious knee injury during the Africa Cup of Nations. Baba Rahman has only made 23 appearances for Chelsea since arriving from Augsburg in 2015. He will now aim to get regular playing time at Schalke, who currently sit in third place in the Bundesliga standings.
Werder 25.1.18
Friedl joins Werder on loan
The Austria U21 international Marco Friedl is leaving Bayern to join Werder Bremen on loan to 30 June 2019. Friedl joined Bayern as a 10-year-old in 2008. This season, the 19-year-old centre back has made an appearance for Bayern's first team in both the Champions League and the Bundesliga.
Bayern 19.1.18
Goretzka agrees Bayern move
Leon Goretzka will join Bayern Munich from Schalke in the summer after agreeing a four-year contract. The 22-year-old Germany midfielder, who had been a reported target for several Premier League sides, joined Schalke from Bochum in 2013 and has gone on to win 12 caps for the national team. The impending arrival of Goretzka at Bayern will however increase speculation over the future of Arturo Vidal, who has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena.
Koln 16.1.18
Koziello joins Koln
Koln have been given a boost in their bid to avoid relegation after France under-21 midfielder Vincent Koziello agreed to join them from Nice. The diminutive 22-year-old has penned a four-and-a-half-year contract. A quick and technically gifted central midfielder, Koziello helped Nice reach the UEFA Champions League thanks to a third-placed finish in Ligue 1 last season. This season Koziello played 15 league matches for Lucien Favre's side and also started seven games in the Champions League qualifying rounds and the UEFA Europa League group stage.
Dortmund 15.1.18
Dortmund sign Akanji from Basel
Borussia Dortmund have signed Swiss defender Manuel Akanji from Basel for a fee thought to be about €21.5m. The 22-year-old scored five goals in 42 league appearances and also made four appearances for Switzerland. He played every game as Basel progressed from their Champions League group. The Bundesliga club says Akanji signed a deal through to June 2022.
Wolfsburg 10.1.18
Steffen joins Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg have completed their second signing of the winter transfer window, bringing in attacking midfielder Renato Steffen from Swiss champions Basel. Steffen, 26, a five-time Switzerland international who helped the Basel reach the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 this season, has put pen to paper on a contract running until June 2021. Steffen follows Josip Brekalo to Lower Saxony, after the Wolves reacted to the departure of Mario Gomez earlier in January by recalling the Croatian from his loan spell at Stuttgart.
Mainz 5.1.18
De Jong joins Mainz
Bundesliga strugglers Mainz have completed the signing of Nigel de Jong after the Netherlands midfielder was released from his deal with Galatasaray by mutual consent. The 33-year-old Dutchman has put pen to paper on a contract until summer 2018. De Jong had previously played in the Bundesliga with Hamburg. He has also represented Ajax, Manchester City, Milan, and LA Galaxy before he joined Turkish club in 2016.
Schalke 4.1.18
Schalke sign Pjaca on loan
Schalke have signed Marko Pjaca on loan from Juventus until the end of the season. The 22-year-old attacker, who has made 19 competitive appearances for the Italian giants after signing on in summer 2016, spent most of 2017 on the sidelines after suffering a cruciate ligament injury last March. Pjaca has already linked up with the Royal Blues at their training camp in Benidorm and becomes the club's second signing of the winter transfer window following the arrival of Cedric Teuchert from Nuremberg.
