Toronto have signed Norwegian forward Ola Brynhildsen on loan from Danish club Midtjylland for the 2025 MLS season, with a purchase option. The 25-year-old's dynamic playing style and attacking approach were key factors in his recruitment, according to general manager, Jason Hernandez.

LAFC have signed Ukrainian defender Artem Smolyakov from Polissya Zhytomyr, securing him through 2028. The 21-year-old joins the club as part of MLS's U22 Initiative and will occupy an international roster spot.

Dallas have signed 19-year-old defender Alvaro Augusto from Portuguese side Portimonense on a three-year contract, with options for 2028 and 2029. The Brazilian, who trialed with the club during preseason in Portugal, previously played for Portimonense U23 in Liga Revelacao U23.

LA Galaxy announced the signing of 21-year-old Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Sanabria to a five-year deal. Sanabria joins from Nacional in Uruguay, having made an impressive rise with five goals and four assists in 46 appearances.

Chicago Fire have signed veteran defender Omar Gonzalez to a contract through 2025, with an option for 2026. The 36-year-old former US international brings extensive MLS experience, having played 291 regular-season games and scored 17 goals with 12 assists.

Inter Miami have signed defender Gonzalo Lujan from San Lorenzo. Lujan, an Argentine youth international, is under contract through 2027 with an option for 2028. The 23-year-old has made 97 appearances for San Lorenzo and has also played 15 times for Argentina's U-23s, including at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Austin have secured the services of Ilie Sanchez, a former captain of LAFC, through the 2025 MLS season with an option for 2026. The 34-year-old Spanish midfielder, who became a free agent after his contract with LAFC expired, brings a wealth of experience and success to Austin.

Former Borussia Dortmund midfielder and three-time Bundesliga Player of the Season Marco Reus has signed with the LA Galaxy. An official announcement with contract details is expected Thursday. The 35-year-old German was out of contract this summer after closing out a lengthy run with Dortmund that began in 2012.

The Houston Dynamo acquired Argentine striker Ezequiel Ponce for a club-record transfer fee on Monday. Multiple reports said the MLS club paid $8 million to Greece's AEK Athens. Ponce, 27, signed a contract through June 2027 with options through December 2027 and 2028.
