Inter 1.2.12
Guarin and Palombo in, Motta out for Inter

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the transfer of Brazil-born Italy midfielder Thiago Motta from Inter Milan in a deal reportedly worth €10m. Te 29-year-old had signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with an option for a further year. Claudio Ranieri had included Motta in his squad for a league match against Palermo, and the departure of the Italy international will come as a blow to the Inter coach.

Inter, who have also allowed Sulley Muntari to head to rivals Milan, have boosted their midfield line with the signings of Angelo Palombo from Sampdoria and Fredy Guarin from Porto on loan until the end of the season. The club also confirmed that Brazilian defender Juan Jesus has signed a contract until June 2016. The Brazil Under-20 international arrived earlier this week from Internacionl.

Juventus 31.1.12
Padoin leaves Atalanta for Juventus

Midfielder Simone Padoin signed for Serie A leaders Juventus in a €5m move from Atalanta. The 27-year-old has agreed a five-year deal after successfully passing a routine medical. Meanwhile, former Italy forward Vincenzo Iaquinta has left Juventus to join Cesena on loan until the end of the season. Iaquinta moved to Juventus in 2007 from Udinese and has scored 40 goals in 108 appearances for the club, but has struggled with injuries over the past two years and has not played since last March.

Juventus 28.1.12
Juventus sign Caceres on loan

Juventus have completed the signing of defender Martin Caceres on loan from Sevilla for the remainder of the season. The 24-year-old Uruguay international, who enjoyed a previous spell with the Bianconeri during the 2009-10 season, passed a medical on Friday morning before sealing his return to Turin. Juve have reportedly paid €1.5 million to take Caceres on loan but retain the option to sign the player outright for €8m in the summer.

Milan 28.1.12
Milan sign striker Lopez

Milan have signed Argentinian striker Maxi Lopez on loan from Catania with an option to make the deal permanent in the summer. The 27-year-old former River Plate forward, who also played for Barcelona and Mallorca in Spain and with Moscow in Russia, joined Catania following a loan spell at Brazilian club Gremio in 2010 and scored 22 goals in 66 Serie A games with the Etnei.

Fiorentina 25.1.12
Amauri completes move to Fiorentina

Striker Amauri has completed a move to Fiorentina for a reported fee of €500,000 after having fallen out of favor at Juventus. The 31-year-old has not made a single appearance for Juventus this season and has been told he is not part of coach Antonio Conte's plans after spending the second half of last campaign on loan at Parma. Born in Brazil, Amauri gained Italian citizenship in April 2010 and made his only appearance for Italy in a friendly against the Ivory Coast in August that same year.

Palermo 14.1.12
Palermo sign Italy goalkeeper Viviano

Palermo have signed goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano from Inter Milano, though the Nerazzurri will retain 50% of the Italian international's playing licence. The 26-year-old, who has signed a contract until 2016, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in July after joining Inter from Bologna and is yet to play this season. Capped six times by Italy, Viviano had established himself as deputy for Gianluigi Buffon and is aiming to force his way into Cesare Prandelli's squad for Eero 2012.

Lazio 13.1.12
Lazio confirm Alfaro signing

Lazio have confirmed the signing of Uruguay striker Emiliano Alfaro from Liverpool Montevideo for a reported fee of €3.2m. The 23-year-old has agreed a four-and-a-half year contract. Milan 8.1.12
Galliani: We have reached an agreement with Tevez

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the club have reached an agreement with Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez. However, a deal now needs to be reached with the current Premier League leaders, with Galliani confirming Milan are looking to take Tevez on loan with a view to a permanent transfer. "We have an agreement with the player," Galliani confirmed to Sky Sport 24. "There are ongoing negotiations with Manchester City and we expect an answer on a loan proposal with the right to purchase the player later on very soon."

Udinese 6.1.12
Udinese sign Fernandes, Fanchone

Udinese have announced the signing of Switzerland midfielder Gelson Fernandes on loan from Saint-Etienne until the end of the season. The 25-year-old midfielder spent the first half of this campaign in the English second tier with Leicester City, where he made 18 appearances. Udinese have also signed French left-back Jean-Alain Fanchone on a free transfer. Fanchone, 23, had been training with the Serie A club after his release by Strasbourg.

Genoa 5.1.12
Gilardino completes Genoa transfer

Genoa have signed Italy striker Alberto Gilardino from Serie A rivals Fiorentina. The 29-year-old has penned a four-and-a-half-year contract with his new employers and is believed to have cost around €8m. The first half of this season has been rough for Gilardino and he has just two goals in the current Serie A campaign. He won the 2006 World Cup with Italy and has played 47 matches and scored 17 goals for his country.

Juventus 4.1.12
Borriello in Juventus move

Juventus have signed Marco Borriello on loan from Roma until the end of the season and have the option to make the move permanent in the summer. The 29-year-old striker had been out of favour under Roma's coach Luis Enrique, starting only two league games. Juventus would pay €8m for his services should they decide to take up their permanent option at the end of the campaign. Borriello scored eleven goals for Roma while on loan from Milan last season.

Napoli 24.12.11
Napoli sign Chilean forward Vargas

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis says they have signed Chilean international Eduardo Vargas from Universidad de Chile. "I can officially say that we have signed Vargas," De Laurentiis told the club's official website. "The contract has been signed and we beat off competition from several top clubs who also wanted the player." No other details were revealed about the transfer. The 22-year-old forward has played nine games for Chile, scoring his first international goal in a friendly against Spain in September.
