Ansaldi joins Torino

Torino have confirmed the arrival of Cristian Ansaldi from Inter. The Argentine joins on a two year loan with a redemption obligation attached. Ansaldi joined Inter last summer but was unable to cement a place in the first team plans of the managers. The 30-year-old left-back made 26 appearances for Inter and is joining his third Serie A club in Torino, having also had a spell with Genoa.

Nani joins Lazio on loan

Nani has sealed a loan move from Valencia to Lazio with the deal including the right for the Serie A club to make the switch permanent. The Portugal international only transferred to LaLiga from Fenerbahce last July, signing a three-year deal at Mestalla, but he has opted for a deadline-day switch to the Italian capital for the remainder of the season. Former Manchester United forward Nani's career has also included spells in Portugal, Turkey and Spain.

Juventus sign Howedes on loan

Schalke centre back Benedikt Howedes has joined Juventus on a season-long loan deal after passing a medical with the Serie A champions on Wednesday. The Germany international joins the Turin-based club on a €3.5million loan deal, which could be upgraded to a permanent move for a further €8.5m after a year. The 29-year-old, capped 44 times by Germany, has spent his entire career at Schalke since he turned professional at the German club in 2007.

Schick moves to Roma

Roma has completed the signing of forward Patrik Schick from Sampdoria in a club record deal adding up to around €42 million. Schick had been set to join Juventus last month but the deal collapsed due to a reported heart problem at the time. The 21-year-old underwent and passed medical tests in Rome on Tuesday before putting pen to paper on a five-year deal.

Roma said the agreement included an immediate loan fee of €5m and "upon the completion of certain sporting objectives, an obligation to make the transfer permanent for a further €9m." There are performance-related bonuses worth up to a maximum of €8m if the deal becomes permanent. Additionally, Sampdoria is entitled to a final payment of €20m in February 2020.

Cancelo joins Inter on

Inter have confirmed the season-long loan signing of Joao Cancelo from Valencia, with the San Siro side given the option to complete a permanent transfer at the end of the campaign. The 23-year-old full-back made 91 appearances during his three years with Valencia - the first of which was on loan from Benfica. Cancelo made his Portugal debut against Gibraltar in September 2016, scoring in a 5-0 win, and he has an impressive three goals from five caps in his fledgling international career.

Milan sign Kalinic from Fiorentina

AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Nikola Kalinic from Fiorentina on an initial season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy. Kalinic, 29, has signed a contract through to 2021 with Milan and becomes their 11th new signing this summer. Reports suggest the forward will cost Milan a total of €25million, made up of an initial €5m loan fee and €20m to make it permanent at the end of the season.

AC Milan have confirmed that Nikola Kalinic has arrived at the club from Serie A rivals Fiorentina. The 29-year-old Croatian international striker has previously lined out for the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Hajduk Split, but found his best form in Italy over the past two campaigns with Fiorentina. Reports suggest Kalinic is set to undergo his medical on Monday, after which his move will be completed if there are no complications. Matuidi joins Juventus

France midfielder Blaise Matuidi completed his move from Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus. The 30-year-old has signed an three-year deal. Matuidi arrived in Turin for a medical on Wednesday but the move finally went through on Friday. No financial details were given, but Juventus will reportedly pay PSG €20million plus bonuses for the player, who had a year left on his contract.

Fiorentina have signed Argentinian defender German Pezzella from Real Betis on loan with an option to buy. The 26-year-old, who joined Betis from River Plate two years ago, has represented his country at Under-20 and Under-23 level.

Behrami completes Udinese move

Valon Behrami has left Watford to sign for Udinese. Behrami, 32, has signed a two-year deal with the Serie A club who, like Watford, are owned by the Pozzo family. The Switzerland midfielder made 44 appearances in all competitions for the Hornets, having joined from Hamburg in July 2015. Udinese become Behrami's sixth Italian club, following stints with Genoa, Hellas Verona, Lazio, Fiorentina and Napoli.

Fiorentina sign Simeone on five-year contract

Fiorentina have signed striker Giovanni Simeone, the son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego, from Genoa. Simeone, 22, scored 11 Serie A goals for Genoa last season and helps reinforce the forward line at the Stadio Artemio Franchi following the sale of Federico Bernardeschi to Juventus. A statement published on Fiorentina's website on Wednesday evening said Simeone had committed to the Tuscans until 2022.

Fiorentina sign Dias on loan

Fiorentina have announced the signing of Monaco winger Gil Dias on a two-year loan with an option to buy. The 20-year-old, who was brought to the French top flight from Braga in 2015, debuted for Monaco from the bench in Sunday's Ligue 1 win over Dijon. However, Dias has now departed the club, subject to a medical at Fiorentina, having previously enjoyed loan spells with Varzim and Rio Ave.
