Inter 31.1.17
Sainsbury joins Inter Milan

Trent Sainsbury has left Chinese club Jiangsu Suning to make a loan return to Europe to play for Inter Milan, who share owners with his club. Sainsbury joins the Serie A outfit until the end of the season and his arrival at San Siro follows Andrea Ranocchia's departure. The Perth-born defender began his professional career with Central Coast Mariners before moving to Europe to join Dutch club Zwolle in 2014. In January 2016, Sainsbury added a third continent to his career experiences, joining Jiangsu Suning.

Empoli 31.1.17
Jakupovic signs for Empoli

Middlesbrough Academy striker Arnel Jakupovic has left the club and joined Empoli on a permanent deal. The 18-year-old has agreed a deal with the Serie A side until 2021. Jakupovic, a regular in the Austria Under-19s side who has also previously been invited to train with the national Under-21 side, ended last season with 20 goals in 20 appearances for Paul Jenkins' side.

Juventus 31.1.17
Juventus snap up Orsolini

Juventus have signed winger Riccardo Orsolini from Ascoli for a fee of €10 million. The 19-year-old, who will remain on loan at the Serie B side until the summer, is the Bianconeri's second January signing. Atalanta's Mattia Caldara has also agreed to move to Turin but, like Orsolini, will wait until the end of the 2016-17 season before joining up with his new teammates.

Fiorentina 29.1.17
Fiorentina confirm Saponara loan deal

Fiorentina have completed the loan signing of midfielder Riccardo Saponara from Empoli. Saponara, who has won 22 caps for Italy's Under-21 side, has scored 14 goals for Empoli over the last three Serie A seasons, finding the net twice in the current campaign. In a statement, Fiorentina confirmed that the loan deal for 26-year-old Saponara has "a purchase obligation", but no further details were provided by either club.

Roma 28.1.17
Grenier signs for Roma on loan deal

Roma have signed Clement Grenier from Olympique Lyonnais on loan. The 26-year-old attacking midfielder joins on a temporary basis until 30 June 2017. As part of the deal, Roma have the option to make the transfer permanent. During his time at Lyon Grenier made 152 appearances, having graduated from the club's academy system. In that period he scored 18 goals and contributed 28 assists. He has five caps for France.

Milan 23.1.17
Deulofeu loaned to Milan

Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu has joined Italian side Milan on loan until the end of the season. The 22-year-old spent a successful campaign on loan at Everton from Barcelona in 2013/14, and he returned to Merseyside on a permanent basis in the summer of 2015. But manager Ronald Koeman has used the Spaniard sparingly since taking charge, and Deulofeu has been restricted to 13 senior appearances this season.

Juventus 12.1.17
Juventus complete Caldara deal

Juventus have confirmed the signing of Atalanta defender Mattia Caldara in a deal that could be worth up to €25million. Caldara will spend the next 18 months back on loan at Atalanta, before joining Juve on a deal that runs until 2021. The centre-back has scored three goals in 11 Serie A games this season.

Inter 11.1.17
Gagliardini joins Inter

Inter Milan have completed the loan signing of Roberto Gagliardini from Serie A side Atalanta. The deal for the 22-year-old central midfielder will run until 2018, when it is understood that the Milan club will make the move a permanent pending appearances. Gagliardini has twice been called up for senior Italy duty but is yet to feature in a Giampiero Ventura side. He has made a total of 14 appearances in Serie A and appeared 51 times in Italy's second division.

Milan 11.1.17
Milan add Storari from Cagliari

Marco Storari has rejoined Milan on loan from Cagliari as the Serie A clubs swapped goalkeepers. Storari, 40, will join Milan until his contract expires at the end of the season, while Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel moves to the Sardinian club on loan after extending his Milan contract through the 2018/19 season. Storari previously enjoyed a spell with Milan between January 2007 and June 2010, making 13 appearances in all competitions. He helped Cagliari win Serie B last season and return to the top flight but recently lost his starting job to Rafael.

Genoa 7.1.17
Taarabt joins Genoa on loan

Adel Taarabt has joined Genoa on an 18-month loan in a bid to rejuvenate his career. The former Tottenham and QPR winger, who also had loan spells with Fulham and AC Milan, joined Portuguese champions Benfica on a five-year deal in June 2015. However, Taarabt failed to play a single match for the club's senior side after he was banished to the B team following a fall-out with the club's hierarchy amid claims of partying and fitness issues.

Napoli 4.1.17
Napoli confirm Pavoletti signing

Napoli have confirmed the signing of Leonardo Pavoletti from Genoa for a reported transfer fee of €13m. The 28-year-old striker has scored four goals in 10 appearances in all competitions this term despite struggling with injury problems. His arrival is expected to hasten the departure of Manolo Gabbiadini, who has been linked with Stoke City and Sampdoria.

Juventus 3.1.17
Rincon signs for Juventus

Juventus have completed the signing of Genoa midfielder Tomas Rincon for an initial fee of €8m - a figure which could rise by €1m on reaching certain conditions within the contract.
