Sirigu leaves PSG for Torino
Italy goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has been released by Paris Saint-Germain and will join Serie A club Torino. PSG says it has reached a deal with Sirigu to terminate his contract, which ran until June 2018. PSG says the 30-year-old Italy international signed a deal with Torino on Tuesday. Sirigu, who joined the Parisian club in 2011, won four French league titles, three League Cups and two French Cups with PSG. He played on loan at Sevilla and Osasuna this season after being pushed back down the pecking order at PSG by Kevin Trapp.
Fiorentina sign Bruno Gaspar
Fiorentina have announced the signing of defender Bruno Gaspar from Vitoria de Guimaraes on a five-year contract. Gaspar becomes Stefano Pioli's first signing since he took over from Paulo Sousa as head coach earlier this month. The right-back made 28 league appearances for the Primeira Liga club last season, with his four assists and 11 clean sheets contributing to Guimaraes' fourth-placed finish.
Fiorentina complete Milenkovic signing
Fiorentina have completed the signing of defender Nikola Milenkovic from Partizan Belgrade. The 19-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Viola. Milenkovic, a centre-back, made his international debut for Serbia last year and is part of his country's squad for the European Under-21 championship.
Partizan general manager Milos Vazura had revealed in March that a deal had been agreed for the teenager to move in a deal reportedly worth around €5million, with the switch now officially confirmed. Fiorentina have also signed Brazilian centre-back Vitor Hugo ahead of the new campaign, a deal that cost a reported €8m.
Silva signs with Milan in €38m deal
Milan made Andre Silva their fourth signing this summer, acquiring the Portugal striker in a €38m deal with Porto. The 21-year-old has agreed a five-year contract with the Serie A club. He scored 21 goals in 44 matches in all competitions for Porto last season. Silva follows Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez in joining Milan, who now have reportedly spent over €135m on new recruits so far this summer, following their takeover by Chinese investors.
Milan signs Rodriguez from Wolfsburg
AC Milan has signed left back Ricardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg in the Rossoneri's third acquisition since the Serie A season ended last month. Milan says it signed the 24-year-old Switzerland international to a four-year contract. While financial details were not announced, Milan will reportedly pay Wolfsburg a transfer fee of €15 million plus €3m in eventual bonuses.
Milan also recently signed Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie on a two-year loan from Atalanta and Argentine centre back Mateo Musacchio from Villarreal.
Vitor Hugo signs for Fiorentina
Fiorentina have announced the transfer of Vitor Hugo from Palmeiras for a reported €8m. The 26-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with the option of a further year after completing a medical with the Serie A club. The centre-back, who was a key part of Palmeiras' Brasileirao-winning squad of 2016, has been signed as a replacement for Gonzalo Rodriguez, whose contract expires at the end of June.
Milan sign Kessie from Atalanta
Milan have announced the signing of midfielder Franck Kessie from Atalanta on a two-year loan deal. The 20-year-old Ivorian midfielder had been a target for the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham but has opted to stay in Serie A. After a promising season in Italy's top division Kessie finished with six goals and three assists in 30 Serie A appearances. Kessie is the second signing of the summer for the Italian club and follows Mateo Musacchio to Milan, who joined from Villarreal earlier this week.
Milan sign Musacchio
AC Milan have announced the signing of centre-back Mateo Musacchio from Villarreal on a four-year deal. The defender underwent a medical last week and he has now formalised his move to San Siro, with Milan believed to have paid a fee in the region of €18million. The 26-year-old started his professional career with River Plate before joining Villarreal in 2009. He made well over 200 appearances in all competitions, but will now continue his career in Serie A.
Mandzukic extends Juventus deal to 2020
Mario Mandzukic has signed a one-year extension to his contract at Juventus, keeping the Croatia forward at the Serie A club until June 2020. Mandzukic, who turned 31 on Sunday, has made 84 appearances for the Turin club since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2015, scoring 23 times. He has helped Juventus to back-to-back league and cup doubles and also into the final of the Champions League, where it faces Real Madrid on June 3.
Sainsbury joins Inter Milan
Trent Sainsbury has left Chinese club Jiangsu Suning to make a loan return to Europe to play for Inter Milan, who share owners with his club. Sainsbury joins the Serie A outfit until the end of the season and his arrival at San Siro follows Andrea Ranocchia's departure. The Perth-born defender began his professional career with Central Coast Mariners before moving to Europe to join Dutch club Zwolle in 2014. In January 2016, Sainsbury added a third continent to his career experiences, joining Jiangsu Suning.
Jakupovic signs for Empoli
Middlesbrough Academy striker Arnel Jakupovic has left the club and joined Empoli on a permanent deal. The 18-year-old has agreed a deal with the Serie A side until 2021. Jakupovic, a regular in the Austria Under-19s side who has also previously been invited to train with the national Under-21 side, ended last season with 20 goals in 20 appearances for Paul Jenkins' side.
Juventus snap up Orsolini
Juventus have signed winger Riccardo Orsolini from Ascoli for a fee of €10 million. The 19-year-old, who will remain on loan at the Serie B side until the summer, is the Bianconeri's second January signing. Atalanta's Mattia Caldara has also agreed to move to Turin but, like Orsolini, will wait until the end of the 2016-17 season before joining up with his new teammates.
