League format : Basketball : Euroleague Basket 2012/2013
The best European basketball competition hosts 24 teams, four groups of six. Each team plays 10 games within its group. Based on the point totals, the top four teams from each group advance to the Eureleague Top 16, a secod group stage. The 16 teams are divided into two groups of eight. The top four teams of each group will advance to the playoffs, which will continue as a best-of-five series whose winners will qualify for the Euroleague Final Four.
