Wolfsburg 17.8.16
Mario Gomez joins Wolfsburg

German international Mario Gomez returns to the Bundesliga, making a €7m transfer from Fiorentina to Wolfsburg. The 31-year-old striker has made a total of 236 top-flight appearances in Germany, scoring 138 goals in his stints at Stuttgart and Bayern Munich. Gomez moved on loan to Besiktas at the start of the 2015/16 campaign and rediscovered his best form. The league's top scorer played a crucial role in Besiktas' run to the title and earned a spot in Germany's UEFA Euro 2016 squad as a result. However, Gomez left Turkey due to political uncertainty in the wake of the failed military coup.

Frankfurt 14.8.16
Hector joins Frankfurt on loan

Chelsea defender Michael Hector has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan. The 24-year-old Jamaica international spent last season on loan at Reading, from which he joined the Blues last summer. He featured several times in pre-season under new manager Antonio Conte but the centre-back has been sent out to the Bundesliga to continue his development.

Werder 4.8.16
Bremen signs defender Lamine Sane

Werder Bremen have signed Senegal defender Lamine Sane from French side Bordeaux. The Bundesliga side announced the transfer of Sane, younger brother of Hannover defender Salif Sane, on Thursday. It did not disclose the length of his contract nor the transfer fee. The 29-year-old Sane will be expected to fill in following the departure of Alejandro Galvez to Spanish side Eibar.

Wolfsburg 1.8.16
Blaszczykowski signs for Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg have confirmed the signing of Poland midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund. Blaszczykowski, 30, fell out of favour following a cruciate knee ligament injury and spent the 2015/16 season on loan at Fiorentina, making 20 appearances in all competitions. The 30-year-old represented Poland at Euro 2016 and moves to the Volkswagen Arena for a fee around €5m in a deal which ties him to the club until 2019.

Schalke 31.7.16
Schalke to sign Sevilla midfielder Coke

Schalke 04 are set to complete the signing of Sevilla's captain Coke after reaching an agreement with the player and the Spanish club. The 29-year-old midfielder, who joined Sevilla in 2011, will return to Spain on Monday to settle final formalities before joining the S04 squad at their training camp in Mittersill, Austria. Coke's arrival will take Schalke's number of big-name summer signings to three, following Switzerland international Breel Embolo's move from Basel 1893 and Naldo's free transfer from Wolfsburg.

Hamburg 26.7.16
Hamburg sign winger Filip Kostic

Hamburg have completed the signing of Stuttgart winger Filip Kostic for an undisclosed fee on a five-year deal. The 23-year-old Kostic, capped nine times by Serbia, was a rare bright spark for the Reds last season as they were relegated from the Bundesliga for the first time in 41 years.

Frankfurt 23.7.16
Varela joins Frankfurt on loan

Manchester United's Uruguayan defender Guillermo Varela has joined Eintracht Frankfurt for 2016-17. The 23-year-old right-back moved to United from Atletico Penarol in 2013 for an undisclosed fee and had a season on loan with Real Madrid's reserves. He made his senior United debut against West Ham in December and has made a total of 10 starts for the first team.

Dortmund 22.7.16
Dortmund sign Schurrle from Wolfsburg

Borussia Dortmund have announced the transfer of Wolfsburg winger Andre Schurrle, their eighth new arrival this summer. The Germany forward has agreed a five-year contract. Schurrle leaves Wolfsburg only 18 months after joining them from Chelsea, where he had been deemed surplus to requirements by then-manager Jose Mourinho. Dortmund will reportedly pay around €30m for the 25-year-old, who made 62 appearances for Wolfsburg and scored a total of 13 goals, setting up a further 10.

Hamburg 21.7.16
Halilovic signs for HSV

Hamburg have signed midfielder Alen Halilovic from Barcelona for €5m. The 20-year-old joins the Bundesliga side on a four-year contract after spending last season on loan at Sporting Gijon. The Croatia international was a regular for Sporting, although he never managed to make his first-team debut in the league for Barca following his arrival from Dinamo Zagreb in 2014.

Wolfsburg 21.7.16
Mayoral announces loan move to Wolfsburg

Real Madrid forward Borja Mayoral has announced he will join Bundesliga side Wolfsburg on loan but hopes to return to the Bernabeu in the future. The 19-year-old forward, who made six La Liga appearances for the Spanish giants last season, left Real's training camp in Montreal, Canada, on Wednesday to join Wolfsburg on a one-year loan deal.

Dortmund 21.7.16
Gotze re-joins Borussia Dortmund

Mario Gotze has re-joined Borussia Dortmund in a €24m deal. Dortmund announced on their official website that Gotze, who made his controversial switch to Bayern in 2013, has agreed a contract until 2020 and will complete the transfer subject to passing a medical.

The 24-year-old forward had declared his intent to stay at Bayern Munich earlier this summer, but was told that he has no future at the Allianz Arena. The German international admitted to teammates at Euro 2016 that his future lay elsewhere, amid reported interest from the Premier League, most notably a reunion with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. Tottenham also held initial talks with the player's representatives, who has one year left on his Bayern deal.

Stuttgart 14.7.16
Grgic joins Stuttgart

Stuttgart have agreed terms with Zurich on the transfer of Anto Grgic. The 19-year-old Swiss youngster has signed a deal with VfB until June 30th, 2020. Details of the transfer remain undisclosed. Grgic has been educated at the Zurich youth academy since 2009 and signed his first professional deal with the club last year. Since then, the 1,88 meter tall central midfielder has made 24 Swiss Super League appearances, scoring four goals.
