Bayern have confirmed the summer transfer of Eintracht midfielder Sebastian Rode. The 23-year-old has agreed a four-year deal running until summer 2018 after the expiry of his current contract. Rode joined Eintracht from local rivals Kickers in 2010 and helped them to promotion in 2011/12 before reaching this season's Europa League round of 32.

Dortmund buys back Sahin

Borussia Dortmund says its officials informed their Real Madrid counterparts on the sidelines of the Champions League quarterfinals that the Bundesliga club will use an option to buy back midfielder Nuri Sahin. The German-born Turkey midfielder helped lead Dortmund to the first of two consecutive Bundesliga titles in 2011 and then left for Real Madrid, where his career was slowed by a knee injury. Following a spell on loan at Liverpool, he returned to Dortmund in January 2013 on a loan deal through the end of this season.

Dortmund signs striker Ramos

Borussia Dortmund has signed Colombian striker Adrian Ramos from Hertha Berlin for next season. The 28-year-old, who scored 32 goals and set up 18 more in 89 league appearances for Hertha, has agreed a four-year deal effective July 1. German media reported a transfer fee in the region of 9 million euros. Ramos has 16 goals in the Bundesliga this season. Only Bayern striker Mandzukic and Dortmund forward Lewandowski, both with 17, have more.

Basel goalkeeper Yann Sommer will join Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer for a fee believed to be around 6m. The 25-year-old has agreed a five-year contract with the Bundesliga club. Sommer has won the last three Swiss Super League titles. He is likely to travel to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where he is expected to back up Swiss first-choice keeper Diego Benaglio.

Bayer Leverkusen have signed left-back Wendell from Brazilian side Gremio with effect from next season. The 20-year-old has agreed a five-year deal until the summer of 2019. According to Brazilian newspapers, Wendell cost Leverkusen 6.5m. He was advised to join Leverkusen by compatriot and former Bayern Munich star Ze Roberto, who now plays for Gremio.

Borussia Monchengladbach has signed American midfielder Fabian Johnson from Bundesliga rival Hoffenheim starting with the 2014/15 season. Johnson, who has received a four-year contract, comes as a free agent. Although he won the European title with Germany's Under-21 team in 2009, Johnson later decided to play for the United States. He has 91 Bundesliga games for Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim.

Borussia Dortmund signed Serbian midfielder Milos Jojic from Partizan Belgrade. The 21-year-old signed a contract through June 2018. Kicker reported a transfer fee in the region of 2 million euros. Jojic provides Dortmund with another option following the season-ending injury to Poland midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski and Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan's ongoing back problems.

Leverkusen take Guardado on loan

Bayer Leverkusen have signed Mexico winger Andres Guardado on loan from Valencia until the end of the campaign, with an option to make the deal permanent. The 27-year-old was a regular in Valencia and played 48 league games in a season and a half. Guardado, capped 99 times by Mexico, joined Valencia in 2012 from Deportivo La Coruna, where he arrived in 2007 from Atlas Guadalajara.

Belgium forward Kevin de Bruyne has completed his transfer from Chelsea to Wolfsburg. The Bundesliga side says de Bruyne signed a contract through mid-2019. The move is reportedly costing Wolfsburg about 20m. De Bruyne scored 10 goals in 33 Bundesliga games while on loan to Werder Bremen last season.

HSV sign Ola John on loan

Hamburger SV have signed Dutch forward Ola John from Benfica on loan until the end of the season. John knows Hamburg coach Bert van Marwijk from their common days at Twente, before John's departure for Benfica. HSV is also hoping to sign another Dutchman, Ouasim Bouy, from Juventus. Bouy has already trained with Hamburg but the club says details still need to be worked out.

Schalke complete Sam swoop

Schalke have confirmed the signing of Germany international Sidney Sam from Bundesliga rivals Bayer Leverkusen. Sam will move to Schalke on a four-year deal on July 1. Capped five times by Germany, the midfielder has been one of the stars of the Bundesliga this season, grabbing seven goals and five assists in 13 games.
