Hamburg 31.8.16
Hamburg sign defender Douglas Santos

Hamburg have signed Douglas Santos from Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro on a five-year deal. Hamburg gave no details about the deal, but German media reports put the transfer at between €7-10 million. Santos, a left-back, was in Brazil's squad that beat Germany in the Olympic final earlier this month in Rio de Janeiro. He signed with Atletico Mineiro in 2014 and helped them to a state championship title in 2015.

Werder 31.8.16
Werder sign Gnabry

Werder Bremen have completed the signing of Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry for a reported fee of €5.9 million. Gnabry, 21, will leave England five years after joining Arsenal from Stuttgart and will join his new teammates on Sept. 7 following Germany's under-21 match in Finland next Tuesday. Despite his lack of first-team minutes, Gnabry was called up to the Germany U23 squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics where he scored six goals and played a key role as his nation advanced to the final.

RB Leipzig 31.8.16
Papadopoulos joins RB Leipzig on loan

Kyriakos Papadopoulos, 24, will play for newly promoted RB Leipzig in the 2016/17 Bundesliga campaign. The Greece international joins the ambitious Saxony club on a year-long loan from Bayer 04. The central defender is under contract with the Werkself until 2020.

Schalke 30.8.16
Konoplyanka joins Schalke 04

Schalke 04 have confirmed the signing of Sevilla attacker Yevhen Konoplyanka, 26, on a season-long loan. An option to recruit the Ukraine international on a permanent basis upon the completion of the temporary switch has been included in the deal.

RB Leipzig 28.8.16
Burke makes Leipzig switch

Nottingham Forest winger Oliver Burke has completed a move to Red Bull Leipzig. The day after scoring for Forest in a 3-1 win over Leeds, the 19-year-old was unveiled by Leipzig with the fee reported to be in the region of €15million. Burke was reportedly a target for Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool, but he has instead opted to put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Leipzig.

Schalke 26.8.16
Stambouli signs for Schalke

Schalke have strengthened their midfield by snapping up French midfielder Benjamin Stambouli from Paris Saint-Germain. The 26-year-old made 39 competitive appearances for PSG but has been deemed surplus to requirements in the French capital. Stambouli has signed a four-year contract in Gelsenkirchen. He is the second midfielder to have joined Schalke this week following the loan arrival of Nabil Bentaleb from Tottenham.

Schalke 25.8.16
Schalke complete loan deal for Bentaleb

Schalke 04 have signed Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb, 21, on a season-long loan. Bentaleb's arrival is a timely boost for coach Markus Weinzierl's team, who lost versatile midfielder Coke to injury days after his arrival from Sevilla. "We are very pleased that Bentaleb chose us because we have been working on this transfer for six weeks," said Royal Blues sporting director Christian Heidel. "He is an aggressive, combative midfielder who increases the options in our squad."

Bayer L. 24.8.16
Dragovic joins Bayer Leverkusen

Aleksandar Dragovic has joined Bayer Leverkusen from Dynamo Kyiv, the Bundesliga club announced on Tuesday. The 25-year-old central defender had been heavily linked with a move to Leicester. However, he has elected to sign a five-year contract with Leverkusen. Austria international Dragovic won two Ukrainian Premier League titles and the Ukranian Cup once during his time in Kyiv.

Wolfsburg 17.8.16
Mario Gomez joins Wolfsburg

German international Mario Gomez returns to the Bundesliga, making a €7m transfer from Fiorentina to Wolfsburg. The 31-year-old striker has made a total of 236 top-flight appearances in Germany, scoring 138 goals in his stints at Stuttgart and Bayern Munich. Gomez moved on loan to Besiktas at the start of the 2015/16 campaign and rediscovered his best form. The league's top scorer played a crucial role in Besiktas' run to the title and earned a spot in Germany's UEFA Euro 2016 squad as a result. However, Gomez left Turkey due to political uncertainty in the wake of the failed military coup.

Frankfurt 14.8.16
Hector joins Frankfurt on loan

Chelsea defender Michael Hector has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan. The 24-year-old Jamaica international spent last season on loan at Reading, from which he joined the Blues last summer. He featured several times in pre-season under new manager Antonio Conte but the centre-back has been sent out to the Bundesliga to continue his development.

Werder 4.8.16
Bremen signs defender Lamine Sane

Werder Bremen have signed Senegal defender Lamine Sane from French side Bordeaux. The Bundesliga side announced the transfer of Sane, younger brother of Hannover defender Salif Sane, on Thursday. It did not disclose the length of his contract nor the transfer fee. The 29-year-old Sane will be expected to fill in following the departure of Alejandro Galvez to Spanish side Eibar.

Wolfsburg 1.8.16
Blaszczykowski signs for Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg have confirmed the signing of Poland midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund. The 30-year-old represented Poland at Euro 2016 and moves to the Volkswagen Arena for a fee around €5m in a deal which ties him to the club until 2019.
