Yannick Gerhardt joins Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg have announced the signing of Koln midfielder Yannick Gerhardt. The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal. Despite the transfer fee being undisclosed, reports in the German media suggest that the fee is believed to be around €13m. Having come through the youth academy in Koln, Gerhardt went on to play 45 Bundesliga matches for the club, scoring three goals. He becomes Wolfsburg's third acquisition of the close season after Daniel Didavi and Josip Brekalo.

Kramaric joins Hoffenheim on permanent deal

Andrej Kramaric has left Premier League champions Leicester City to sign a permanent deal with Hoffenheim. The Croatia striker played the second half of last season on loan at the German club, scoring five goals in 15 games to help preserve Hoffenheim's Bundesliga status. Kramaric's time at Leicester was less productive, although his opportunities were limited in a side that were fighting relegation in his first six months and then subsequently for the title with Jamie Vardy in hot form.

Hummels completes Bayern move

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Borussia Dortmund captain Mats Hummels on a five-year contract. The 27-year-old Germany center back joined Bayern at the age of six in 1995, only to leave for Dortmund in January 2008. His final game for Dortmund came against Bayern in the DFB-Pokal final on Saturday, where he was substituted after 78 minutes due to injury before the Bavarians won on penalties. Hummels joins Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski in the ranks of key Dortmund players to transfer to Bayern in recent years.

Leverkusen sign Kevin Volland

Bayer Leverkusen have secured the services of German forward Kevin Volland from Bundesliga rivals Hoffenheim. The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract and expressed his delight in making the move. Volland has 33 goals and 38 assists in 132 Bundesliga matches for Hoffenheim. He has also won six caps for Germany, but has not been selected in the squad for the upcoming European Championship in France.

Leverkusen sign Baumgartlinger

Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of Austria international Julian Baumgartlinger from Mainz on a four-year deal. The 28-year-old midfielder will join the club this summer after making 124 Bundesliga appearances for Mainz. He had been under contract at Mainz until 2019, but Leverkusen activated the holding midfielder's €4m buyout clause.

Mainz sign Cordoba on permanent basis

Mainz 05 have completed the permanent signing of Jhon Cordoba, who played a key part in an impressive sixth-place Bundesliga finish last season and has now penned a four-year contract with the 05ers lasting until 2020. The Colombian striker struck five times and set up a further two goals during a one-year loan spell from Spanish side Granada.

HSV sign new goalkeeper

HSV announced the signing of goalkeeper Christian Mathenia from Darmstadt. The 24-year-old has agreed terms on a three year deal with the Rothosen. Mathenia began playing at little-known outfit Frei-Weinheim and after a spell at Hassia Bingen joined the youth set up at Bundesliga club Mainz 05. He was between their reserve team posts from 2011 until 2014. Summer 2014 saw the keeper join newly-promoted Darmstadt. He played 33 times for them this season and was an absolute cornerstone of their team.

Wolfsburg complete permanent Guilavogui deal

Wolfsburg have secured the services of Josuha Guilavogui from Atletico Madrid on a permanent deal after spending the past two seasons on loan at the Bundesliga side. Guilavogui has developed into a key figure at Wolfsburg since joining the club in August 2014 and following the end of the campaign they have acted quickly to exercise their option to buy the France international. The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has signed a contract until June 2019.

Wolfsburg complete Brekalo signing

Wolfsburg confirmed the signing of Croatian youth international attacker Josip Brekalo from Dinamo Zagreb for a reported €10m. The 17-year-old has signed a five year deal with the German club. Brekalo made his first team debut for Dinamo Zagreb last December and has since then made eight top-flight appearances. Speaking to Wolfsburg's website general manager Klaus Allofs said that the Croatian would be given time to be ready for the first team.

Schalke snap up Naldo from Wolfsburg

Schalke have snapped up experienced Bundesliga defender Naldo on a free transfer from Wolfsburg. The 33-year-old Brazilian centre-back has signed a two-year contract with his newm club just 24 hours after making his final Wolfsburg appearance in their 3-1 win over Stuttgart. Naldo played 173 Bundesliga games for Werder Bremen after joining from Juventude Caxias do Sul in 2005. He joined Wolfsburg in 2012, scoring 16 goals in 125 league games and winning the German Cup again in 2015.

Bayern sign Tasci

Bayern Munich have signed centre-back Serdar Tasci on loan from Spartak Moscow. Tasci, 28, will initially join Bayern until the end of the season but the German champions will have the option to make the deal permanent in the summer. Tasci had started 16 of Spartak's 18 league games this season prior to the move.

Drmic joins HSV on loan

Hamburg have signed Switzerland international Josip Drmic on loan from Borussia Monchengladbach until the end of the season. The 23-year-old forward, who has scored eight goals in 25 appearances for his country, has passed his medical with Hamburg and will link up with his new teammates at training on Tuesday.
