Frankfurt 26.9.14
Frankfurt signs veteran goalkeeper Hildebrand

Eintracht Frankfurt have signed veteran goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand as a replacement for the injured shot-stopper Kevin Trapp. Trapp, 24, suffered a ligament injury in his ankle in Frankfurt's 2-2 draw with Mainz on Tuesday. The 35-year-old Hildebrand had been without an employer since his contract at Schalke 04 ran out at the end of last season. Hildebrand, who won seven caps for Germany and has played in 298 Bundesliga games, already trained with Eintracht on Thursday.

Hamburg 1.9.14
HSV snap up Holtby on loan

Hamburger SV have secured the signing of Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Lewis Holtby on a season-long loan deal. The 23-year-old German international spent the latter half of the 2013/14 campaign at English side Fulham, having made his name in Germany with Schalke 04, Bochum and Mainz. Between 2011 and 2013, Holtby made 40 Bundesliga appearances for Schalke, scoring on ten occasions. He has made three appearances for Germany, as well as a further 24 for the country's U-21 side.

Hamburg 1.9.14
Green joins Hamburg on loan

Hamburg have taken USA international Julian Green on a season-long loan from Bayern. The 19-year-old made a name for himself at the World Cup this summer by becoming USA's all-time youngest goalscorer at the global finals, but opportunities at club level remained limited. Green, who was born in Florida but grew up in Bavaria and represented Germany at youth level, has yet to make his Bundesliga debut. With Lewandowski and Pizarro ahead of him in the pecking order, he has opted for a move to HSV where he can expect to feature more frequently.

Dortmund 31.8.14
Kagawa to rejoin Borussia Dortmund

Shinji Kagawa has left Manchester United to return to Borussia Dortmund after a disappointing two-year spell at Old Trafford. The Japanese international playmaker arrived at United for a fee in the region of 20m. But the Red Devils have taken a considerable hit on the 25-year-old, who returns to the Bundesliga in an undisclosed deal, reckoned to be around just 8m. Kagawa has signed a four-year deal with Dortmund.

Hertha 31.8.14
Kalou joins Hertha Berlin

Ivory Coast international Salomon Kalou has joined Hertha Berlin. The 29-year-old forward joins Jos Luhukay's side on a three-year contract from the Ligue 1 outfit LOSC Lille for a reported fee of between 2.5m and 3m. Kalou made 156 appearances and scored 36 goals during a six-year spell at Chelsea. He has represented the Ivory Coast on 67 occasions, scoring 23 goals and appearing at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010 and Brazil in 2014.

Mainz 29.8.14
Jairo signs for Mainz

Sevilla winger Jairo Samperio has signed a four-year deal with Mainz, the Bundesliga club confirmed. Mainz lost two of their attacking stalwarts at the end of last season, with Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting and Nicolai Muller signing for Schalke and Hamburg respectively. The 21-year-old Jairo made 25 appearances for Sevilla last season after joining from Racing Santander.

Bayern 29.8.14
Xabi Alonso set to complete Bayern move

Xabi Alonso is poised to complete his move to Bayern Munich after Real Madrid confirmed on Friday an agreement had been struck between the two clubs. Bayern's financial director Jan-Christian Dreesen revealed on Thursday that an agreement for the 32-year-old midfielder had been struck "in principle", with the 2010 World Cup winner due in Munich later in the day for a medical and to discuss terms.

Madrid have now issued a statement confirming the deal, with Alonso set to bid his farewells to the European champions at a press conference this morning. The statement read: "Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement for the transfer of Xabi Alonso. The player will appear before the media today at 11am (local time) at the Santiago Bernabeu press room, accompanied by the director of institutional relations, Emilio Butragueno."

Bayern 26.8.14
Bayern confirm Benatia deal

Bayern have won the race to sign highly-rated defender Mehdi Benatia from Roma. The 27-year-old Morocco international had reportedly been a target for Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City earlier in the transfer window, but has now agreed on a move to Munich after excelling at the Stadio Olimpico. The Bundesliga giants have secured his services for the next five years.

Hannover 23.8.14
Hannover complete Briand deal

Hannover have completed the signing of French forward Jimmy Briand, 29, on a one-year contract. The five-cap France international saw his contract with Lyon expire at the end of last season and had been linked with moves to Turkey and England. However, Briand, who scored 22 goals in 110 league matches for Lyon, is now under contract at the HDI Arena until June 2015.

Wolfsburg 15.8.14
Bendtner moves to Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Denmark international Nicklas Bendtner on a free transfer. The 26-year-old former Arsenal striker signed a three-year contract with the Lower Saxony outfit. Bendtner failed to hold down a regular starting spot during his nine-year spell at the Emirates Stadium, and his contract was not renewed at the end of the 2013-14 campaign.

Hoffenh. 14.8.14
Zuber moves to Hoffenheim

Hoffenheim have signed winger Steven Zuber from CSKA Moscow on a four-year-deal. Zuber moves to the Rhein-Neckar Arena on a contract until June 2018 after just over a year with the Russian club. The former Switzerland Under-21 international joined CSKA from Grasshopper in July last year and helped them win the Russian Premier League. Zuber, who turns 23 on Sunday, also won two Russian Super Cups during his time in Moscow, but has now opted for a new challenge in the Bundesliga.

Wolfsburg 9.8.14
Wolfsburg bring in Guilavogui

Wolfsburg have confirmed the loan signing of midfielder Josuha Guilavogui from Atletico Madrid. The 23-year-old French international arrives on a two-year loan from the Spanish champions, with Wolfsburg securing an option to make the move permanent for a reported fee of 5m. Guilavogui joined Atletico from Saint-Etienne last summer but, unable to make his mark, was loaned back to his original club for the second half of the season. He has five France caps and has appeared in 103 Ligue 1 matches.
