Sliti joins Dijon on loan

Tunisia international midfielder Naim Sliti has joined Dijon on a season-long loan from rivals Lille. The 24-year-old initially joined Lille on loan last year before signing a permanent deal until 2020 in May. His future was in doubt last month when he learned he was no longer required by new Lille coach Marcelo Bielsa. Despite interest from several clubs, Sliti opted to join Dijon, who have the option to sign him on a permanent deal when his loan expires next year.

Idriss Saadi joins Strasbourg

Strasbourg have signed striker Idriss Saadi from Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee. The 25-year-old has joined the French Ligue 1 side on a four-year contract. Cardiff signed Saadi from French second division side Clermont Foot in 2015 but he made only two substitute appearances for the Bluebirds, failing to score. He spent last season on loan at Belgian club Kortrijk, where he scored 16 goals in 35 games.

Nice sign defender Christophe Jallet

Nice have signed defender Christophe Jallet from Lyon on a free transfer. Lyon released the 33-year-old right-back from the final year of his contract. After coming up with Niort, Jallet maved to Lorient in 2006 before starring for Paris-Saint German for five seasons. He spent the last three seasons with Lyon and has been a member of the Didier Deschamps' France squad, both at Euro 2016 and for a World Cup qualifier in March.

Jallet becomes the fourth signing of the summer for Nice after the additions of Jean-Victor Makengo, Adrien Tameze and Pierre Lees-Melou.

N'jie joins Marseille on permanent deal

Tottenham have agreed a deal to sell Clinton N'Jie to Marseille, following the forward's successful loan spell with the Ligue 1 side. The Cameroon international spent the 2016-17 season with Marseille, where he scored four goals from 23 appearances to help guide the side to a fifth-place league finish. N'Jie joined Spurs from Lyon in August 2015 and made just 14 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Marseille sign Adil Rami

Marseille completed the signing of France defender Adil Rami from Sevilla on Thursday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though reports said the 31-year-old signed a four-year deal after a transfer fee of about €6 million. Rami will be reunited with Marseille coach Rudi Garcia, for whom he played three seasons at Lille.

Alves completes PSG switch

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of Brazil international defender Dani Alves. Alves negotiated his release from Juventus at the end of June and had been expected to come to the Premier League with Manchester City. But the 34-year-old was approached by PSG last weekend and will instead ply his trade in France's Ligue 1 after signing a two-year deal. The attack-minded right-back, who won the Champions League three times with Barca, also claiming six LaLiga titles during his time at the Nou Camp.

Lille finalise deals for Mendes and Malcuit

Lille have completed the signing of Sao Paulo midfielder Thiago Mendes in a move said to be worth up to €9million. Defensive midfielder Mendes, 25, has put pen to paper on a five-year contract and follows in the footsteps of Luiz Araujo, who left Sao Paulo for the Ligue 1 club in June. Lille also announced the arrival of the right-sided player Malcuit from Saint-Etienne on a five-year contract.

Toulouse sign striker Yaya Sanogo

Toulouse have completed the signing of Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer after the striker was allowed to leave Arsenal. Sanogo, who scored just one goal in 20 appearances over four seasons at Arsenal prior to his exit last month, signed a three-year deal with Ligue 1 side on Friday. The 24-year-old started his professional career in France with Auxerre and returns to his homeland after unsuccessful loan spells at Crystal Palace, Ajax and Charlton Athletic.

Saidy Janko has left Celtic to sign a four-year contract with Saint Etienne in France for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old full-back joined the Scottish champions from Manchester United in the summer of 2015. The Switzerland Under-21 international made seven appearances for Celtic last season before being loaned out to Barnsley.

PSG sign defender Berchiche

Paris Saint-Germain have finalized their first signing of the summer by hiring Spanish left back Yuri Berchiche from Real Sociedad. The 27-year-old returned to San Sebastian after a successful loan spell with Eibar in 2014, and enjoyed the finest season of his career with Real Sociedad in 2016/17, playing 35 matches. He also scored three goals and delivered four assists. Berchiche will be competing with Layvin Kurzawa for a starting spot after Maxwell retired at the end of the season.

Luiz Gustavo joins Marseille

Luiz Gustavo has joined Marseille from Wolfsburg in an €10m deal. Gustavo, who had started his Bundesliga career at Hoffenheim in 2007, was part of Bayern Munich's treble-winning season in 2013. He then joined Wolfsburg, winning the German Cup again in 2015 and finishing runners-up in the Bundesliga to Bayern in the same year. The 29-year-old defensive midfielder has made 41 appearances for Brazil's national team and was included in their World Cup squad in 2014. He is Marseille's second summer signing after Valere Germain joined from Ligue 1 winners Monaco last month.

Monaco sign defender Kongolo

French champions Monaco have signed Dutch defender Terence Kongolo on a five-year contract. The 23-year-old Kongolo came through the academy at Feyenoord, where he won the Dutch title this season. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but French medai reported a transfer fee of about €13m.
