Aberdeen have announced they have completed the signing of Greg Stewart on a season-long loan from Birmingham City. The 27-year-old arrived in the Granite City this morning to seal the move, with Stewart becoming Derek McInnes' third summer signing. Boss McInnes also confirmed there will be more signings arriving before Europa League signing deadline of Friday, July 7.

Kilmarnock have signed teenage defender Daniel Higgins on a two-year contract. The 19-year-old was formerly on the books of Celtic, before moving to Dundee on a free transfer in January of this year. Kilmarnock have also signed Alan Power, who comes to Scotland after six years at Lincoln City. The 29-year -old has signed a two-year deal at Rugby Park.

Rangers have announced the signing of Mexican duo Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera. Midfielder Pena has signed from Liga MX side Chivas and has agreed a three-year deal, as has striker Herrera who arrives from UNAM. They become Rangers' seventh and eighth signings of the close season, following Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Dalcio, Ryan Jack, Alfredo Morelos and Daniel Candeias in joining Pedro Caixinha's squad.

Griffiths pens one-year deal

Russell Griffiths has joined Motherwell on a one-year deal after he was released by Everton. The 21-year-old goalkeeper spent four months of last season on loan at the Scottish Premiership club, and has now accepted a permanent contract at Fir Park. Griffiths had been on Everton's books since joining as a youth-team player three years ago, although he never made a first-team appearance for the club. During his time in Scotland he made four appearances for Motherwell.

Rangers have confirmed the signing of striker Alfredo Morelos from Helsinki on a three-year contract. The 20-year-old hit 47 goals in 62 appearances during his time in Finland, having started his career at Independiente Medellin in his homeland. This signing represents manager Pedro Caixinha's sixth signing of the summer as he continues to overhaul the first-team squad at Ibrox.

St Johnstone have signed attacking midfielder Stefan Scougall from Sheffield United on a two-year deal. The 24-year-old will now be part of the squad which competes in the Europa League qualifiers before the 2017/18 Premiership season gets under way. Christie returns to Aberdeen on loan

Aberdeen have signed attacking midfielder Ryan Christie on a season-long loan from Celtic, who have snapped up Dons winger Jonny Hayes. The 22-year-old former Inverness Caley Thistle player spent the second half of 2016/17 on loan at Pittodrie and scored seven goals. Derek McInnes' men return to action in the second qualifying round of the Europa League on Thursday July 13.

Celtic have formally completed a deal for Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes. The 29-year-old becomes Celtic's first summer signing following a five year spell in the Granite City. The 29-year-old bagged 11 goals for the Dons last term, including two against Celtic in the final month of the season, and won Player of the Year nominations. He has made almost 200 appearances since joining the club from Caley Thistle in 2012.

Motherwell have completed the signing of midfielder Andy Rose from Coventry City. The Australian has signed an initial one-year deal. Rose played in MLS for three seasons with Seattle Sounders before making the switch to Coventry last summer. He played 21 times in League One last season, scoring twice.

Rangers confirm signing of Daniel Candeias

Rangers have confirmed the signing of Portuguese winger Daniel Candeias on a two-year deal. The 29-year-old previously worked with Ibrox boss Pedro Caixinha at Nacional during the 2011/12 season. The midfielder started his career at Porto, where he made four appearances before being set on a number of loan spells in his home country and Spain. He made his name at Nacional where he made 85 appearances and netted 13 goals. Candeias' form at the Madeira club got him a big move to Benfica where he failed to make an appearance in a three-year spell.

Ross County have completed the signing former St Mirren full-back Sean Kelly on a two-year deal. The 23-year-old arrives from AFC Wimbledon where he spent last season, playing 32 games for the League 1 side, predominantly at left-back. Jim McIntyre, Ross County manager, said: "Sean is a player I have admired for a number of years now. He is a left sided player and at 6'2" will add a real presence to our defence."

Hibernian have confirmed the signing of defender Efe Ambrose on a two-year deal from Celtic as they prepare for their top-flight return. The 28-year-old Nigeria internationalist helped Neil Lennon's men clinch the Ladbrokes Championship title while on loan last season and now joins fellow new recruits Simon Murray (Dundee United) and Danny Swanson (St Johnstone) at Easter Road.
