news: transfers

PSV 2.2.16
Marco van Ginkel joins PSV

Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel has joined PSV Eindhoven until the end of the season after cutting short his loan spell at Stoke City. Van Ginkel moved to the Britannia Stadium on a season-long deal last summer in search of first-team experience, but has since started just eight Premier League matches under Mark Hughes and was set to find his opportunities further limited by the arrival of Giannelli Imbula from Porto.

Feyenord 26.1.16
Hansson joins Feyenoord

Par Hansson signed an 18-month contract with Feyenoord. The 29-year-old keeper, who has seven Swedish caps, arrives on a free transfer after spending 15 years for Helsingborgs. Feyenoord was looking for a new keeper after Warner Hahn picked up a knee injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season.

Alkmaar 7.12.15
Ron Vlaar joins AZ Alkmaar

AZ Alkmaar have signed Dutch defender Ron Vlaar on a contract until the end of the season. The 30-year-old has been without a club after undergoing knee surgery and rejecting a new contract to stay with Aston Villa in the close-season. Vlaar has previously been linked with a number of Premier League clubs but he is now back in his homeland with AZ, who are 10th on the table.

Roda 26.8.15
Roda sign young Australian De Silva

Australian midfielder Daniel de Silva has agreed a two-year loan move to Dutch club Roda Kerkrade, Perth Glory said on Wednesday after a transfer to Italian side Roma appeared to collapse. Roma agreed to buy the 18-year-old in July after some standout display in the A-League, but the Western Australians said they had loaned De Silva to the Eredivisie outfit while still remaining a Glory player. De Silva joins Socceroos pair Tomi Juric and Rostyn Griffiths at the Kerkrade-based club.

Nijmegen 26.8.15
Sleegers signs for NEC

Joey Sleegers will continue his career at NEC. Feyenoord has reached agreement with the newly promoted Eredivisie club on the immediate transfer of the 21-year-old. Sleegers will pen a three-year contract with the Nijmegen outfit. The midfielder's contract with Feyenoord was up at the end of this season.

Sleegers is a product of the Feyenoord Academy, but has not managed to make his first-team debut for the club. Last season he was loaned to second-tier FC Eindhoven, where he made 33 appearances and scored 13 goals.

PSV 15.8.15
PSV sign Moreno from Espanyol

PSV have completed the signing of Mexico defender Hector Moreno from Espanyol. The 27-year-old has joined Phillip Cocu's men on a four-year deal for a fee reportedly in the region of 3.5m. It means a return to the Netherlands for Moreno, who spent three and a half years at AZ Alkmaar before moving to Espanyol in 2011.

Feyenord 6.8.15
Eljero Elia joins Feyenoord

Dutch winger Eljero Elia is joining Feyenoord on a free transfer from Werder Bremen. Bremen announced the 28-year-old's transfer Thursday after Elia spent the second half of last season on loan at Premier League club Southampton. Elia joined Bremen from Juventus in 2012. He played 66 Bundesliga games and two German Cup matches for the club.

Vitesse 5.8.15
Solanke loaned to Vitesse

Chelsea have confirmed that striker Dominic Solanke joined Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan. The 17-year-old made his first-team debut in last October's Champions League group stage win over Maribor and was an integral member of the teams which won the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League. Solanke will become the fifth Stamford Bridge youngster to join Vitesse for the 2015/16 season, following in the footsteps of Danilo Pantic, Isaiah Brown, Nathan and Lewis Baker.

Feyenord 27.7.15
Van der Heijden joins Feyenoord

Feyenoord have bolstered their defensive options by signing Jan-Arie van der Heijden on a three-year contract. The 27-year-old arrives on a free transfer from Vitesse after a four-year stay in Arnhem. Van der Heijden has been a regular starter at Vitesse for the past four years, making 132 league appearances.

Roda 26.7.15
Roda sign midfielder Griffiths

Roda Kerkade have signed Australian midfielder Rostyn Griffiths, 27, on a one-year deal. Roda boss Darije Kalezic said: "Several big clubs outside of Europe were interested in Griffiths, but because he wanted to play in Europe, this transfer was possible. That makes us both very happy." Griffiths will join his new team-mates in training for the first time on Tuesday.

Vitesse 24.7.15
Chelsea send Pantic to Vitesse

Chelsea have completed the signing of Partizan Belgrade midfielder Danilo Pantic, with the player immediately joining Vitesse Arnhem for the forthcoming campaign. The 18-year-old has represented Serbia at youth level and helped his country reach the semi-finals of last summer's European Under-19 Championships. Pantic becomes the fourth Chelsea player to link up with Vitesse ahead of the 2015/16 season.

Ajax 17.7.15
Sanogo completes loan move to Ajax

Arsene Wenger has confirmed Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo will spend the 2015/16 campaign on loan at Dutch giants Ajax. The France Under-21 international joined Arsenal on a free transfer in 2013 but has struggled in front of goal, scoring just once in 20 appearances for the Gunners. Sanogo ended last season on loan at Crystal Palace.
