Feyenoord have bolstered their defensive options by signing Jan-Arie van der Heijden on a three-year contract. The 27-year-old arrives on a free transfer from Vitesse after a four-year stay in Arnhem. Van der Heijden has been a regular starter at Vitesse for the past four years, making 132 league appearances.

Roda Kerkade have signed Australian midfielder Rostyn Griffiths, 27, on a one-year deal. Roda boss Darije Kalezic said: "Several big clubs outside of Europe were interested in Griffiths, but because he wanted to play in Europe, this transfer was possible. That makes us both very happy." Griffiths will join his new team-mates in training for the first time on Tuesday.

Chelsea send Pantic to Vitesse

Chelsea have completed the signing of Partizan Belgrade midfielder Danilo Pantic, with the player immediately joining Vitesse Arnhem for the forthcoming campaign. The 18-year-old has represented Serbia at youth level and helped his country reach the semi-finals of last summer's European Under-19 Championships. Pantic becomes the fourth Chelsea player to link up with Vitesse ahead of the 2015/16 season.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo will spend the 2015/16 campaign on loan at Dutch giants Ajax. The France Under-21 international joined Arsenal on a free transfer in 2013 but has struggled in front of goal, scoring just once in 20 appearances for the Gunners. Sanogo ended last season on loan at Crystal Palace.

Amin Younes has left Borussia Monchengladbach and joined Ajax, with whom he has signed a three-year contract. The 21-year-old, who came to Gladbach at the age of six and has appeared for Borussia at every youth level, has made 28 first-team appearances for the first team. Younes, who was featured 18 times for the Germany U21 team, was loaned to second-tier side 1. FC Kaiserslautern last season.

Izzy Brown has joined Vitesse Arnhem on loan from Chelsea for the 2015-16 season. The England Under-19 forward follows in the footsteps of U20s captain Lewis Baker, who linked up with the Eredivisie outfit on a similar deal in June. Brown, 18, was a member of England Under-17s' victorious 2014 European Championships Final squad. He has also enjoyed a prolific youth career at club level.

Chelsea starlet Lewis Baker will spend next season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem. The midfielder, who is also captain of England Under-20s, has become the lastest player to make a temporary switch from Stamford Bridge to the Dutch Eredivisie side, from whom the Blues have developed strong ties with in recent times.

Feyenoord have signed Marko Vejinovic from Vitesse for an undisclosed fee. The 25-year-old midfielder has agreed a four-year contract. The former Netherlands youth international made 67 Eredivisie appearances during two seasons with Vitesse and previously played with Heracles and AZ. Vejinovic was part of the AZ side that won the league title in 2009.

PSV sign Poulsen

PSV Eindhoven have made Danish defender Simon Poulsen their first signing of the summer. The 30-year-old has signed a two-year deal on a free transfer from AZ Alkmaar and will be the defensive cover for Jetro Willems, according to PSV technical director Marcel Brands. "He is an experienced player and will play a positive role in the squad," Brands told the club website of the left back, who was won 29 caps for Denmark and played at the 2010 World Cup.
