Mabil secures transfer to Midtjylland

Adelaide United winger Awer Mabil has secured a move to Danish Superliga champions Midtjylland, after negotiations for his transfer fee were finalised between the two clubs. The 19-year-old is expected to join the Danish outfit in a record transfer fee for an A-League player, reportedly surpassing the 1m. Mabil made nearly 50 appearances with the A-League side that handed him his professional debut in 2013.

Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen has signed for Danish Superliga champions Midtjylland. The 26-year-old has penned a two-year deal at the MCH Arena, bringing to an end his eight-year stay at Madejski Stadium. Andersen has returned to his homeland on a free transfer having coming to the end of his contract in Berkshire.

Duncan moves to Randers

Young Australian goalkeeper Jack Duncan, 22, has passed his medical at Randers and will officially take up his two-year deal with the Danish club. Duncan, who has represented Australia at both under-20 and under-23 level, played eight times in the Hyundai A-League, making seven appearances for Glory and one with the Newcastle Jets.

Foley joins Kobenhavn

Ireland defender Kevin Foley has signed for Kobenhavn after having his contract cancelled with Wolverhampton Wanderers. The 30-year-old, whose deal was due to expire in the summer, is leaving after seven-a-half years at the Championship club and over 200 first-team appearances. The move means Foley rejoins Stale Solbakken, who managed him at Wolves.
