Ochoa joins Standard Liege

Mexico international goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa has joined Standard Liege. The 31-year-old was a free agent after his contract with Malaga ran out at the end of the season. Ochoa played on loan at Granada last season, but the team was relegated after finishing in last place, having conceded 82 goals over the 38 games.

Ochoa moved to Ligue 1's Ajaccio in July 2011 and stayed until the team was relegated in 2014. A transfer to Malaga followed an outstanding 2014 World Cup for Ochoa, but he struggled to hold down a starting sport and was loaned to Granada for the 2016-17 season.

Botaka joins Sint Truiden

Former Leeds United winger Jordan Botaka has returned to Belgium to continue his career after agreeing a three-year contract with Sint Truiden. Botaka finalised a move to to the club controlled by Charlton Athletic owner Roland Duchatelet after being released by Leeds in May. Botaka began his career with Club Brugge in Belgium before moving to Excelsior in Holland. Leeds moved to sign him in the final hours of the summer transfer window in 2015.

Vukovic completes Genk move

Socceroos goalkeeper Danny Vukovic has signed a two-year deal with Genk with the option of a further two seasons. The 32-year-old Vukovic will replace Mat Ryan at Genk, after his compatriot spent the final six months of the 2016-17 season in Belgium on loan from Valencia before signing with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The move is significant for Vukovic who has never played in Europe, despite a brief spell with Turkish club Konyaspor in 2010. Vukovic, who was last season's A-League Goalkeeper of the Year, also spent time in Japan with Vegalta Sendai in 2014.

Andrijasevic moves to Gent

Following the highly successful season with HNK Rijeka - winning the domestic double - midfielder Franko Andrijasevic agreed a move to Gent. The 25-year-old was awarded as the best player of Croatian First Division, while Croatia head coach Ante Cacic rewarded him with a call-up to the national team, for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at Iceland. At club level, Andrijasevic scored 18 times for Rijeka in 32 appearances.

Kums agrees deal with Anderlecht

Watford midfielder Sven Kums has struck personal terms with Anderlecht. The Belgium international was signed by the Hornets last summer, but spent the season on-loan with Udinese. Kums began his career at Anderlecht, coming up through their youth system but failied to make an appearance for the first team. He looks to earn a sport in Roberto Martinez's Belgium squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
