Young B. 23.8.16
Mbabu joins Young Boys on loan

Newcastle defender Kevin Mbabu is to return to his native Switzerland to spend the season on loan at Young Boys. Mbabu, 21, signed a two-year contract extension earlier this summer and has made five senior appearances for the club since signing in January 2013 from Servette.

Basel 28.6.16
Doumbia joins Basel on loan

Roma's Seydou Doumbia will spend the new season on loan at Swiss champions Basel. Capped 33 times by Ivory Coast, Doumbia was part of the side that won the 2015 African Cup of Nations.

The 28-year-old forward has struggled to get regular football in the Italian capital, making just 13 Serie A appearances since joining from CSKA Moscow in January 2015. He enjoyed a fruitful loan spell back at his former club and a less productive one with Newcastle United during the 2015-16 campaign.

Grasshop. 30.1.16
Senderos joins Grasshoppers

Philippe Senderos has moved quickly to secure a new club following his release from Aston Villa, signing for Swiss side Grasshoppers. The Switzerland defender, a former Arsenal, Everton and Fulham player, mutually agreed to terminate his contract on Wednesday after playing for Villa since June 2014. The 30-year-old has now opted to return to his homeland and sign a six-month deal with Grasshoppers.

St Gallen 9.1.16
Gaudino joins St. Gallen on loan

Gianluca Gaudino became the third player to leave Bayern Munich in this winter transfer window when he joined St. Gallen in a loan deal on Saturday. Bayern says the 19-year-old Gaudino will return to the club after one and a half seasons in Switzerland. His contract with Bayern runs through June 2018.
