The 31-year-old arrives as cover for Franco Costanzo, who has been ruled out for several weeks because of a knee injury. However, second-choice keeper Louis Crayton is expected to replace Costanzo between the posts. Zurich 9.2 : Zurich have signed Brazilian forward Carlos Silvio from second division Wil 1900. The 23-year-old had been expected to join the Swiss title-holders during the summer but links up immediately with Zurich because of injury to striker Eudis. Silvio has signed a contract until 2012. He scored 11 goals in 16 games this season for Wil. Zurich 22.1 : Zurich have secured the signature of striker Gabriel Machado from Brazilian side Juventude. The 18-year-old had made only two league appearances for Juventude, both as a substitute, but impressed management at the Swiss club during a recent trial. Machado has signed a contract until 2009, but financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Zurich 11.1 : Zurich have completed the transfer of Swedish Under-21 international forward Emra Tahirovic from Lille. Bosnian-born Tahirovic, 20, has joined the Swiss champions on loan until the end of the season with a view to sealing a four-year contract. He failed to secure a regular first-team place at the French club since arriving from Halmstad last summer. Basel 13.11 : Basel have announced the acquisition of highly rated defender Beg Ferati from Concordia Basel. The Switzerland Under-21 has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half year contract. The 28-year-old Swiss-Frenchman arrives from Greek side Panionios, where he played just three times last season. Konde enjoyed most success during a six-year spell ar German side Freiburg between 1999 and 2005. Sion 23.8 : Swiss international midfielder Raphael Wicky has rejoined his hometown club Sion on a three-year contract. The 30-year-old arrives from German side Hamburger, where he scored four goals in 126 Bundesliga games. Wicky left Sion to join Werder Bremen in 1997, moving on to Hamburg in December 2001 following a brief spell in Spain with Atletico Madrid. Young B. 22.8 : Young Boys have completed the transfer of midfielder Thierry Doubai from Ivory Coast club Athletic Adjame. Financial terms were not disclosed.
